SharePoint 2010 Training: more information

Did you know, you can fully manage Office365 with PowerShell? What? Wasn’t Office365 supposed to be in the cloud – how do I use powershell with THAT!? Is it black magic? No not really! Office 365 uses the remote powershell functionality of Windows Powershell 2.0. It builds upon the Windows remote management service (you will find it in the services console of Vista+ or Windows2008+ by default, or installed as an addon on XP). It uses that to connect to a web service, and download the available commandlets – based on the logged in user. WHOAA!! So, what can be managed using PowerShell in Office 365? You can manage domains Security Groups Enhanced Authorizations Identity Federation Partner support – where you designate a partner to manage your Office365 And Exchange. Note that Lync and SharePoint online are not manageable via powershell. So, still sound like black magic? What are the actual steps to use Powershell in Office365? Well

Video Chat on Your Android Phone

Sometimes, the expressions on a person's face can mean much more than what they say. To help you stay in touch with your friends and family, we’re launching Google Talk with video and voice chat for Android phones.

You can now video or voice chat with your friends, family and colleagues right from your Android phone, whether they’re on their compatible Android tablet or phone, or using Gmail with Google Talk on their computer. You can make calls over a 3G or 4G data network (if your carrier supports it) or over Wi-Fi.

In your Google Talk friends list, a video or voice chat button will appear next to your contacts and you can simply touch the button to connect with them. Any text chats from the person you’re talking with will be overlaid on your phone’s screen so you can read them without having to leave the video. And, if you need to check something else, the video pauses automatically so you can go back to your phone’s home screen or another app. The audio will keep going even though the video has paused. Check out how this works:

Google Talk with video and voice chat will gradually roll out to Nexus S devices in the next few weeks as part of the Android 2.3.4 over-the-air update and will launch on other Android 2.3+ devices in the future. To learn more about using video and voice chat, check out our Help Center.

Top 7 PHP Frameworks

Planning for developing a PHP web application nowadays also includes choosing the right framework. PHP frameworks have become increasingly popular and rightfully so. They can save huge amount of time with coding. Some of them are easy to learn and use, even if you don't master OOP programming.

Using a framework also takes care of important things like security and easy update of your own code and all other packages. Some frameworks have a huge and active user base and community, making it easy to look for help and solutions if you get stuck.

PHP latest version, 5.3.5 brought many changes which made some of the framework malfunction. Most of them now do support PHP 5.3.5 while others have rewritten their whole code base.

I selected 7 of the most used frameworks and listed them here with key features and some accompanying weblog entries by people with user experience.

My personal preference from past experience is CodeIgniter, but the brand new released FUEL sounds very promising.
